***Full/Part time (clinic and in-home setting) RBT license or completion of RBT 40 hour training course preferred (provide assistance to get license) Summary/Objective Responsible for providing intensive/focused behavioral intervention services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor and communication development. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is ultimately responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families, as well as accurate record keeping of case notes and excellent communication with supervising BCaBA or BCBA about the program and the progress of the behavior service plans. The RBT maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Clinical Director. Essential Functions \xc2\xb7 Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions. \xc2\xb7 Implements individualized treatment plan as written and directed by consultant. \xc2\xb7 Collects accurate data and graphs data as instructed. \xc2\xb7 Maintains dignity and confidentiality for all clients. \xc2\xb7 Ensures safety and wellbeing of all clients. \xc2\xb7 Completes and returns session notes and other paperwork on time and manages client PHI in accordance with HIPAA. \xc2\xb7 Possession of a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and the ability to meet Nevada\xe2\x80\x99s driving requirements \xc2\xb7 Dependable means of transportation Additional Functions: \xc2\xb7 Actively communicates Aloha Behavioral Center\xe2\x80\x99s outreach efforts to community \xc2\xb7 Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Aloha Behavioral Center Required Education and Experience: \xc2\xb7 An associate degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of marriage and family therapy, child development, special education, psychology, or related field. \xc2\xb7 A minimum of one year experience working with children \xc2\xb7 RBT Certification, preferred Work Environment & Physical Demands: \xc2\xb7 Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time. \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. \xc2\xb7 Moderate to high stress levels. \xc2\xb7 Work fluctuates between home and community environment. \xc2\xb7 Regular contact with parents, community members, and supervising BCBA. \xc2\xb7 Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior. \xc2\xb7 Ability and willingness to travel between client locations for appointments as assigned in a punctual manner. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time or part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours will fluctuate based on workload and client schedule. Weekend work will be required based on client needs. Benefits and paid time off available to full-time employees. Travel This position requires up to 100% travel moving between client residences in the Las Vegas and Henderson area. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must pass a 40-hour online training, competency exam, and written exam if not yet RBT certified.
