We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Are available to work 8:00 am to 7:00 p.m. and are available on weekends. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to enhance the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques
Duties
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors to ensure accurate tracking of treatment effectiveness.
Assist in developing care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Provide support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage engagement and participation in therapeutic activities.
Collaborate with team members and families to communicate progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Stay informed about medical terminology and applied behavior analysis principles to effectively support clients.
Qualifications
Skilled in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with data collection methods and the ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.
Knowledge of care plans and experience maintaining medical records is preferred.
Understanding of applied behavior analysis techniques and their practical application in therapeutic settings.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to upholding confidentiality standards as per HIPAA guidelines.
