Behavior Buffet LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA therapy services to clients in home, school, and/or community settings. The RBT will implement individualized treatment plans under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collect accurate data to monitor client progress. This position requires an active RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral needs. Supervision hours towards applying for BCBA Board exam through BACB included in employment.
Direct ABA Services
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
Support clients in building communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills.
Documentation and Reporting
Complete all session notes and data logs on the same day of service.
Maintain documentation in compliance with BACB, HIPAA, and organizational standards.
Promptly report client incidents, injuries, or significant changes in behavior to the supervising BCBA.
Collaboration and Communication
Follow the BCBA's guidance, participate in supervision sessions, and provide feedback on client progress.
Maintain professional, respectful communication with clients, families, caregivers, and team members.
Attend scheduled team meetings and trainings as required.
Compliance with Ethical and Regulatory Standards
Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts and RBT supervision requirements.
Maintain active RBT certification in good standing.
Follow HIPAA privacy rules and all applicable confidentiality laws.
Cultural Competence
Provide culturally sensitive and respectful services to clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
Continuous Professional Development
Participate in ongoing supervision and training to enhance ABA skills and maintain certification.
Utilize ABA strategies and procedures consistent with the BACB RBT Task List and treatment plan goals.
Requirements
Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral therapy methods.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to collect data accurately and maintain detailed records of client progress.
Understanding of medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral health.
