The Basics
Compensation: $20-$28/hr (based on experience and education.
Hours: Part-time position (Between 4-8 hours per week).
Schedule: T , TH , starting at 4:00-6:15 pm (Saturdays not required but welcomed).
1. Work directly with children in their homes, fostering communication, play, and learning.
2. Learn from BCBAs on providing therapy to children and families.
3. Teach communication, social, self-help, and play skills using Applied Behavioral
Analysis principles.
4. Accurately record treatment data and ensure client safety.
5. Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional conduct.
6. Provide ABA treatment, behavior management, and parent education to families with children with special needs.
7. Attend family team meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
At least 18 years of age
At least 60 college credits required
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
Reliable transportation
Clean criminal background check and abuse registry check
Pass drug screening
Ability to lift 50 lbs, walk 2 miles, and engage in physical activities
1-2 years of experience working with children in a supervised setting
Passion for working with children, families, and therapists
Self-motivated, team player, compassionate, and professional
Excellent organizational skills
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Child
Development, Early Childhood
1 year of experience working under the direct supervision of a BCBA
Previous coursework or on-the-job training in Applied Behavior Analysis
Experience working with students with ASD or other developmental disabilities
