Position Summary



The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention and skill acquisition services to clients under the direct, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT is responsible for the consistent and accurate implementation of client treatment plans across various settings, including the client's home, school, and community environments throughout the Aurora area.

Key Responsibilities:



Direct Service Delivery



Implement all phases of the client's treatment plan, including skill acquisition programs (e.g., communication, social, self-care, play skills) and behavior reduction plans (BIPs). Utilize effective, data-driven ABA techniques such as Discrete-Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), chaining, and prompting procedures. Maintain a positive, motivating, and therapeutic relationship with the client and their family. Ensure the client's safety and provide timely de-escalation of challenging behaviors according to prescribed protocols.

Data Collection & Documentation



Collect, record, and graph accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data during every session using technology (e.g., electronic data collection system). Complete detailed, professional, and contemporaneous session notes and billing logs within required deadlines. Review data and communicate observations regarding client progress or lack of progress to the supervising BCBA immediately.

Collaboration & Compliance



Actively participate in required team meetings, supervision sessions, and clinical training. Maintain strict adherence to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state and federal laws. Follow all company policies and procedures related to scheduling, clinical protocol, and administration.

Qualifications Required:



RBT Certification:

Must possess a current, active, and in-good-standing

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

certification credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).

Background Check:

Must pass a comprehensive background check as required by the state of Colorado.

Compliance:

Commitment to adhering to all ethical codes and requirements established by the BACB and any relevant regulatory bodies within the

Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

, if applicable to the RBT scope of practice.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, run, and lift up to 25 lbs. (This is essential for providing effective, active therapy.)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
