Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is vital in promoting positive behavior changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.

Duties



Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on improving daily living skills (ADLs) and social interactions. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently. Assist in teaching new skills and behaviors while reinforcing positive behaviors through behavior management strategies. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and medical documentation. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the overall development of clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.

Requirements



Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques and behavioral therapy practices. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records, care plans, and patient care protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
