Position Summary

Provide leadership and strategic direction for Transportation Operations within assigned fulfillment region. Oversee new fulfillment center (FC) site and spoke launches for home delivery, spoke transfers, store pick up, and other new delivery initiatives. Evaluate regional operational effectiveness, improve, and implement processes to reduce delivery expense and increase customer satisfaction of the delivery experience. Essential Job Functions * Provide direction and guidance for transportation leadership within assigned region

• Support regional fleet coordination between fulfillment centers and spokes, including tractors, trailers, vans, and straight trucks.
• Own Customer Service Delivery Driver training (Driver Academy) as well as CDL Academy for KFN private fleet and coordinate training material changes with Corporate Training team
• Support transportation crisis management initiatives within assigned region
• Main contact for new driver technology/innovation projects within assigned region
• Support site launches through salary training, Obeya meetings, and health checks
• Analyze network opportunities to improve operational effectiveness as measured against key performance indicators and drive down transportation costs
• Partner with corporate support teams to maintain and improve overall network customer satisfaction as it relates to the delivery experience
• Establish relationship with network strategy teams and advise/work to optimize geographical offering as it relates to Spoke locations and/or diverting volume to a more economical location
• Process standardization across all sites including organization and maintenance of the playbook, process flows, and implementation packages
• Lead efforts to identify transportation/freight synergies within the FCs operating region
• Travel up to 75% to FC and Spoke locations

Minimum Position Qualifications * Bachelor\'s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities in a logistics/transportation environment
• Highly analytical with the ability to understand and resolve complex operational issues
• Excellent leadership and project management skills
• Strong technical skills as it relates to web-based applications/programs with the ability to learn and master different operating systems
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, not limited to audit and budgeting
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present complex information to large groups
• Strong interpersonal skills and development of associates

Desired Previous Experience/Education * Any fulfillment center/customer delivery experience

• Any regional/corporate support role experience
