Overview:
Norbar Torque Tools, a member of the Snap-on Incorporated family of companies, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to sell Norbar and Sturtevant Richmont torque tools within the North Central Region of the US.
Responsibilities:
Develop an effective sales plan to introduce the Norbar & Sturtevant Richmont product lines.
Qualify, build, and sell through the distribution network.
Cold call and sell direct within the assigned territory.
Make regular contact with customers.
Prepare call reports and sales quotes.
Maintain customer files, contact information, and customer history.
May attend conventions and trade shows.
May work outside of assigned territory to support national accounts and other territories.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Outside industrial sales experience
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent hands-on skills along with a solid mechanical aptitude
Proficient in Microsoft office
Ability to learn various company and vendor windows-based software programs.
Ability to work well as a member of a team.
Overnight travel, up to 50%
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and walk/traverse half a mile or more through manufacturing sites or field locations.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
