The Regional President is responsible for statewide operations, including cultivation, manufacturing, retail, and wholesale distribution of cannabis products as well as interfacing with regulators, legislators, and other Dispensing Organizations. Additional responsibilities include the development of critical business infrastructure, including real estate assets, management information systems and organizational staffing and training.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy aligned with the organization\'s overall goals and objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability within the designated market.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Be the face of the market, spending 40-50% of the time in the market engaging all levels of the organization.
  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, compliance, and asset protection operations
  • Manage 5-7 direct reports including the Directors of Manufacturing, Retail Operations, Asset Protection, Human Resources and Public Relations
  • Drive expansion of retail sales through opening new stores, management of Wellness Center \xe2\x80\x9ccampaigns\xe2\x80\x9d and management of physician and enterprise sales
  • Establish and expand a wholesale channel of distribution to other Dispensing Organizations and cannabis retailers.
  • Develop and maintain an annual budget, including weekly and monthly sales, production, and inventory forecasts.
  • Manage talent and developing future leaders, you will contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the business while ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead a diverse team of managers and employees, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent and build a high-performance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all statutes and regulations promulgated by the Florida Department of Health across all Florida operations.
  • Develop and implement compliance training, evaluation, and monitoring procedures.
  • Interface with Surterra\'s regulatory counsel and the Director of the Office of Compassionate Use (OCU) within the Florida Department of Health
  • Interface with Surterra\'s government relations team, state legislators and local officials
  • Review and interpret operational impact of proposed regulations and legislation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends, leveraging innovation to enhance business processes and offerings.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and creativity within the market team.
  • Collaborate with facilities and real estate personnel to develop real estate assets, including greenhouse production facilities, manufacturing laboratories, distribution assets and retail facilities
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU\'LL BRING
  • 5+ years\' experience in mass people management 100+ heads successfully
  • MBA in Business Administration or Equivalent experience in an executive role
  • High level of executive presence
  • Exposure and understanding of Cannabis Industry and complexities.
  • Proven track record of talent development
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to pivot quickly without being thrown off track.
  • A personality that embraces a fast paced ever changing environment.
  • Experience interfacing with legislators, regulators, or similar governing bodies
  • Basic understanding of GMP standards
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
