What You'll Do
As a
Regional HR Consultant (HR Business Partner)
, you will provide both strategic and hands-on HR support to facility HR teams and leadership. Responsibilities include:
Partnering with HR Coordinators, Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and regional leaders on talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement
Managing employee relations and labor relations issues, including investigations, performance management, and corrective action
Supporting recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives for nursing and healthcare staff
Ensuring HR compliance with state, federal, and healthcare regulations (OSHA, EEOC, ADA, DOL, CMS, etc.)
Coaching, training, and mentoring HR & Payroll coordinators and regional recruiters
Leading HR audits, workforce planning, and succession planning efforts
Driving organizational effectiveness through change management and continuous improvement projects
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
+ In lieu of degree: 8+ years of progressive HR experience in healthcare or long-term care may be considered
Strong background in employee relations, labor relations, HR compliance, and talent management
Multi-site HR or Regional HR experience in healthcare preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel regularly across assigned facilities in Iowa
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in HR or related field
PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
10+ years of HR experience, ideally in healthcare HR or long-term care
