Essential Job Duties
The University Housing Facilities team is focused on providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. The Regional Facilities Manager (RFM) in University Housing supervises mechanics responsible for the response to electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC issues in our residential communities.
Our regional facility managers provide front line support to our residents' needs and are expected to resolve over 90% of the submitted work orders without passing them on to a specialized trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Our Regional Facilities Managers are forward facing, directly accountable to students/parents, and critical to the customer service of our department. Strong communication skills are also required for this role.
