Regional Director of Operations!

WORK HOURS

The Regional Director of Operations works a full-time position Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday.

What you\'ll be doing as Regional Director of Operations:

  • The Regional Director of Operations is a professional position responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of multiple hospice sites in the designated territory.
  • Works closely with the Regional Director of Business Development to identify trends, opportunities, and implement a growth strategy for the territory.
  • Works closely with the Director of Quality and Corporate Compliance to ensure high quality, compliant care at all locations.
  • Works closely with the Director of Human Resources to hire and manage a compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable workforce.
  • Is responsible for developing and managing budgets for each hospice office.
What we\'re looking for:
  • Possesses understanding of Hospice philosophy and principles of death/dying.
  • A professional attitude and demeanor and be able to communicate effectively and relate courteously and cooperatively with patients, caregivers, colleagues, supervisor, co-workers and all others is required.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and clinical competency.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to synthesize data and create actionable goals.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the healthcare industry, particularly hospice operations.
Education and Experience:
  • Master\'s degree in Business, Healthcare, Nursing, or other related field with one year healthcare occupational experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field with three years of operational experience, preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of accreditation surveys, preferred.
  • Has experience dealing with Medicare Home Health and Hospice standards and State Hospice regulations.
  • Possesses background reflecting strong interpersonal skills including the ability to market, teach and relate tactfully with staff and members of the community/customers.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working condition and have automobile insurance in accordance with State laws.
  • Possesses satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Has satisfactory criminal background and national sex offender checks.
