Job Summary:

The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for installing and repairing new and used refrigeration units onto trailers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Installs new refrigeration units in a timely and proficient manner Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration systems to identify malfunctions and determine repairs Perform all levels of maintenance and repair services on various brands of refrigeration units. Maintains accurate records of repairs, parts used at the time of repair Keeps shop and shop equipment organized and clean and workspace free of clutter Communicate effectively with service team and coworkers Participates in training and continued education opportunities provided by the company Employees are required to be on a rotation Service Call schedule Employee must be at work during scheduled hours and demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to follow instructions from supervisor or management. Knowledge of general maintenance and repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Regular attendance & ability to be ready at the start of shift necessary Valid Driver's License & a satisfactory MVR Ability to pass post-offer physical & drug screen

Education and Experience:

Related experience required High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, push or carry up to 100-pound objects with assistance Frequently required to sit / stand / kneel / stoop / bend / use hands to handle materials / reach with arms and hands / operate motor-vehicle or job-related equipment / climb ladders
