Job Summary
We are actively seeking a
Refrigeration EMS Technician
to join our team in
Chino, CA
. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and skilled technician with experience in
Energy Management Systems (EMS)
,
refrigeration controls
, and
commercial HVAC/R
environments. The technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining refrigeration control systems for large commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Install, program, and commission EMS and refrigeration control systems (i.e. CPC, Emerson, Danfoss, or similar platforms)
Troubleshoot and repair EMS system issues, control wiring, sensors, and field devices
Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration EMS equipment to ensure energy efficiency and performance
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical documentation
Coordinate with onsite teams and project managers to ensure timely and accurate system installations
Maintain detailed service logs, documentation, and compliance reports
Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times
Requirements
3+ years of experience in refrigeration controls, EMS systems, or HVAC/R controls
Strong working knowledge of supermarket refrigeration systems and EMS platforms (CPC, Emerson E2, Danfoss, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Proficient with low-voltage electrical wiring and control systems
EPA Universal Certification preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to travel locally to job sites in and around Chino, CA
