Job Description
Looking for technician with experience in the following areas to work in our Ketchikan Alaska shop.
- HVAC systems
- Commercial packaged roof top units
- Commercial DX coils with remote condensing units
- Commercial VRV Daikin preferred
- Light commercial VRV-42 preferred
- Residential Mini-split Daikin preferred
- Residential Multi split Daikin preferred
- Low temp commercial systems
- Water cooled walk in coolers/freezers
- Air cooled walk in coolers/freezers
- Residential appliance repairs/installation
Pay scale is per the local 262 scale which is currently at $45/ hr + $10 hr retirement + Health insurance (covers whole family). you don\'t need to currently be a union member but you will need to join local 262 after your 30 day trial period.
Signing Bonus of $5,000 - ($1,000 per month (starting after the trial month) for the first 5 months (must work for 5 months to receive full signing bonus). there will be a 30 day trial period, We will pay for your ticket to Alaska, housing during the trial period (SMC shop housing) and a ticket back home after the 30 day trial. if we both agree it\'s a good fit we will negotiate moving expenses and begin paying the signing bonus at the end of the second month (30 day trial plus one additional month of work).
