Intensive Health is seeking an experienced referral clerk to join its nursing team.

POSITION: Referral Clerk



LOCATION: Elizabethtown, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:

two years of experience in a healthcare setting experience with referrals and PAs preferred experience with substance abuse preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

complete all referrals to outside entities as ordered by healthcare providers complete prior authorizations for medications complete preprocedure certifications for various tests obtain KASPERs on necessary patients assist on the floor as needed manage incoming fax routing and outgoing faxes complete medical records requests or route them appropriately ensure records and results are received when patients are sent for tests or referrals other duties consistent with managing clerical tasks of a medical practice
