Position Summary:
The Recovery Care Coordinator is responsible for
maintaining the daily structure, safety, and accountability within the program. This position supports clients in adhering to program expectations, completing daily tasks, and progressing in their recovery journey. The role requires attention to detail, consistent documentation, and adherence to program procedures and trauma-informed care principles.
Job Responsibilities:
Core Operational Responsibilities
Medications:
Store, observe, and report on client medications in accordance with the AM/PM
Medication SOP.
Ensure all medications are documented accurately and observed per program policy.
UA's/BAT's (Urinalysis and Breath Alcohol Tests):
Administer UA's and BAT's to clients on a weekly basis following the UA SOP.
Log all UA/BAT results in the UA/BAT log and FYIdb
immediately after completion.
Report any positive or concerning results directly to the Program Facilitation Manager.
Meeting Checks:
Ensure clients are attending required outside 12-Step meetings daily.
Record meeting attendance accurately in the Meeting Checklist document.
Follow up with clients and report any missed meetings per program policy.
Chores:
Facilitate and monitor daily chores in accordance with the Chores SOP.
Provide direction and support to clients completing assigned tasks.
Record chore completion through the Chore Checklists and report incomplete tasks.
Rounds / Location Checks:
Conduct hourly location checks of all clients and record on the Rounds Sheet.
Perform and document room checks on an hourly basis to ensure safety, cleanliness, and accountability.
Administrative Duties
Checklists Completed:
Complete all checklists relevant to the assigned shift, including:
AM/PM Program Facilitation & Support Checklists
Nightly Lockup Checklist
Office Organization Checklist
Reporting / Shift Report:
Report emergencies or urgent matters directly to the Program Facilitation Manager.
Assist in creating the Shift Report daily, following the Shift Report SOP to ensure all information is accurate and complete.
Program Documentation (Program Doc):
Create the Program Doc for the following day to maintain structure and scheduling.
Facilitate the daily program schedule, ensuring each client attends their assigned appointments and program activities.

Trauma-Informed Care (T.I.C.)
Understand and apply Trauma-Informed Care principles in all interactions with clients and staff.
Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that empowers client recovery.
Boundaries
Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times.
Model consistent, ethical, and respectful behavior that reflects program and recovery values.
Uphold confidentiality and avoid dual relationships.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in substance use treatment or related field (Preferred)
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage crises effectively and provide support.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
