Description:
Duties: Analyze and appraise records series to determine retention standards based on administrative, legal, fiscal and historical guidelines. Coordinate records management activities with those of other divisions, departments and outside agencies and organizations; prepare and present staff reports and other necessary correspondence. Interpret and explain policies and procedures regarding records maintenance, retention preservation and disposition; serve as liaison with other departments, state agencies and the general public regarding records management activities. Serve on a variety of other committees; attend professional group meetings, seminars and conferences; stay abreast of trends and innovations in the field of records management.

Qualifications: Equivalent to a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in records management, business administration, public administration or a related field; five (5) years of records management experience. Physically able to lift and handle boxes weighing up to forty (40) pounds or more.
