Description
The Receptionist answers the phone, greets office visitors, and serves as the first point of contact for customers. This position will direct phone calls to the appropriate individual and document complaints. This position is also responsible for distributing the mail, processing cash, checks, and credit card payments as well as maintaining accurate files for interments as well as pre-need sales. The incumbent must know the process of how the office staff, counselors, and grounds crew interact to accomplish cemetery objectives.
This position supports the three Kansas City area cemeteries regarding the first objective and all four Diocesan cemeteries regarding the second objective.

Handle phone calls and visitors in a welcoming manner.
