$20.00-$23.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule:



Tax Season (Jan-May):

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-7:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM Overtime is mandatory during tax season; schedule subject to change*

Position Overview



We are seeking a motivated and organized

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play an essential role in creating a positive and professional experience. This position also provides key administrative support to help keep daily operations running smoothly during our busiest season.

Responsibilities



Greet and assist clients in a friendly, professional manner Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the firm calendar Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Maintain a clean and organized reception and client waiting area Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing, and document preparation Manage our online client portal to maintain accurate client records Record and post client payments; send reminders for outstanding balances Facilitate client signatures and the delivery of completed tax returns and documents Occasionally run local errands (e.g., bank deposits, post office)

Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in office administration is a plus) Prior experience in an accounting, tax, or financial office is preferred Familiarity with basic accounting or tax terminology Proficiency in

QuickBooks

or similar accounting software Proficiency in

Microsoft Office

(Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional demeanor and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
