Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic administrator to join our local music school. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for potential new clients, and work closely with the school director to assist in managing a dynamic and complex schedule.
The primary day-to-day responsibility will be answering calls, texts, and emails from clients, and assisting them with scheduling.
As time allows, additional responsibilities may include marketing efforts and social media. This may include designing flyers, instagram and Facebook posts, billboard ads, banner ads, depending on what the situation calls for.
This is a hybrid-remote role - primarily remote, but an in-person presence may be required occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Answer and relay phone calls, text messages, and emails in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments, enroll new clients, and maintain complex calendars
- Assist with various tasks such as marketing, data entry, inventory, and special events as needed
Requirements
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in writing
- Computer literacy, including basic knowledge of how to use spreadsheets.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently
Preferred
-General familiarity with music instruction common practices
-Graphic Design and/or marketing experience
Schedule:
15-25 hours a week, spread out over 3 to 5 days; fairly customizable for the right candidate. May include weekends, and occasional on-call expectations.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
