Receptionist - Moore Eye Clinic (Tuscaloosa, AL)

Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. | $16-$19 per hour (based on experience)

Moore Eye Clinic is a well-established optometry practice in Tuscaloosa dedicated to providing exceptional vision care and a warm, welcoming environment for our patients. We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented

Receptionist

to join our team and help set the tone for a great patient experience from the moment someone walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients with professionalism and warmth, creating a positive first impression of our clinic Answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations Collect and enter patient information accurately into our electronic records system Maintain a clean and organized reception area Support the clinical and optical teams with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in a medical or optometry office preferred, but not required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with computers and office software; experience with electronic health records a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate:

$16-$19 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (no weekends)

Paid time off:

2 weeks of vacation and 1 week of sick time per year (after 6 months of employment)
