Full Time - 72 Hours - M-F
We're looking for an organized, people-oriented Clinic Receptionist to help ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service. This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment while supporting accurate scheduling, registration, and payment processes.
What You'll Do:
Greet patients warmly and collect demographic, billing, and payment information
Schedule appointments accurately and verify patient contact and insurance details
Update records, scan paperwork, and schedule follow-up visits
Answer phones promptly, gather necessary information, and route calls appropriately
Provide updated schedules to nursing staff and providers
Assist patients with forms, insurance card copies, and portal enrollment
Collect co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and outstanding balances; log and post payments daily
Monitor office supply needs and report to the Clinic Coordinator
Cross-train and assist in other clinic office areas as needed
Qualifications:
2-4 years of customer service experience (preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in a physician clinic office (desired)
Medical terminology knowledge or coursework (highly preferred)
