DESCRIPTION




The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of the visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to correct staff. Schedule and confirm appointments. Verify client insurance eligibility and collect payments from clients. Monitor and update ProtoCall spreadsheet daily. Ensure that all billing and recording functions are conducted in compliance with all ethical and legal standards. Assist other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED




Education and Experience

High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a certified medical office training course preferred. Must pass NMCYFD fingerprint clearance check to maintain employment. Maintain a valid and unrestricted NM Driver's License

Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Maintains confidentiality and discretion as a rule. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
