Receptionist at Dog Daycares and Grooming Shops

We are looking for someone who loves dogs and wants to work with every type of breed. No experience is required, but we would love it if you did have some prior animal handling skills. We're looking for someone who can provide stellar customer service and comes to work with a great attitude. Must have own transportation and valid driver's license required

As the Receptionist at our dog daycares, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our human clients and our dog clients.

Greet Dog Parents as they enter Chat with Dog Parents and answer their questions coordinate appointments using our online platform Answer the phone and speak with clients Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Comply with health and safety regulations Keep a clean and inviting receptionist/waiting area facilitate check-in and check-out of dogs to daycare maintain the front desk and merchandise area complete other tasks around the store that may arise Prepare to schedule any services they are asking for Assist with dog daycare Assist the groomers by bathing, drying and washing pets use verbal and non-verbal techniques to keep the dog calm and ensure a great experience maintain a great attitude when communicating with the team and clients assist clients in setting up the self-bath keep the shop clean and do laundry observe all safety rules complete any other tasks around the store that may arise

Requirements

We are looking for someone with great communication skills who loves to work with a team. Clerical experience is great, but we are open to applicants from all backgrounds. Basic computer skills are an essential part of the job. We would love someone who is very organized and has a great attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
