Primary Objective:

To greet and check-in patients and provide basic operational support for LifeScan Minnesota. Additionally, provide multi-faceted operational support for CRL Women's Imaging - Southdale

Responsibilities:

Greet and check-in PET-CT patients at LifeScan Minnesota. Appointment reminder calls to patients on the next day's schedule. Assist with prepping/pushing and troubleshooting outside mammograms (current and priors). Assist with prepping/pushing and troubleshooting outside Breast MRI's. Reach out to sites with callback information for abnormal mammograms read by the breast section. Contact sites with technical repeat information as needed for breast imaging exams. Pull mammograms and other breast imaging from Allina Visage and load it onto CRL Visage for continuing care of mutual patients. Fax ROIs to other facilities and obtain medical records, images, and reports for patients. Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines. Any additional duties as given by leadership.

Qualifications:

Outgoing personality with strong communication, customer relationship and organizational skills. Highly motivated, possesses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage time, priorities and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment. MS Word, Excel proficiency along with general computer knowledge. Strong problem diagnosis skills preferred. HS diploma with previous customer service experience. Medical terminology training desired.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Frequent speaking in English, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, extended periods working at a computer. Ability to move around the facility frequently to oversee operations and interact with staff and patients. Capability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods during the workday. Capability to handle a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Tolerance for exposure to typical healthcare environment conditions, such as noise, odors, and varying temperatures.
