About the role
The Receiving Supervisor at Southwest Accessory Group is responsible for leading the daily operations of the receiving department, ensuring efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, team performance, and compliance with all standard operating procedures. This leadership positions is key in executing inbound logistics strategies, managing team performance and collaborating with cross-functional department to meet customer and vendor operational expectations
What you'll do
Supervise the execution of all inbound inventory including WMS entry and accurate put away
Manage a team of Receiving leads and associates setting daily goals and monitoring performance
Ensure all receiving documentation, BOL's and carrier compliance requirements are met
Monitor KPI's such as inventory controls discrepancies
Conduct daily audits of inbound freight and documentation to ensure inventory accuracy
Oversee training and development of receiving, returns and production personnel and lead team meetings
Communicate regularly with inventory, shipping, production and transportation teams
Monitor and ensure all safety procedures are being complied with
Partner with the DC Manager to implement process improvements and SOP compliance
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years receiving experience, 2+ year in lead role
WMS experience (NetSuite preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Able to lift 75 lbs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift, stand-up Forklift, Cherry Picker, Deep Reach Truck)
Forklift certification preferred
