ALOM is looking for a Receiving Supervisor who is:

Here\'s what you need to succeed in the role:
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge and supervision experience in receiving consigned and non-consigned item deliveries
  • Solid background in ISO processes and procedures
  • Returns and Reverse Logistics, Distribution, and excellent Inventory Management skills
  • Minimum 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced and dynamic shipping and fulfillment environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Extensive spreadsheet knowledge. MRP experience, preferably Intuitive ERP and WMS.
  • Must be able to provide systematic supervision in a very fast-paced environment
  • Track record of leading and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Proven ability to leverage data to understand and improve operational performance
  • 2+ years experience in 5S lean warehouse environment
  • Excellent time management skills to manage fast-paced communication through Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and internal ALOM systems
You will be responsible for:
  • Supervising 15-25 warehouse personnel in inventory management, receiving, and picking
  • Training, performance reviews, and career development of your team
  • Developing procedures and execute them based on company goals
  • Ensuring that deadlines and accuracy are met throughout the warehouse
  • Ensuring smooth cooperation between receiving and other operations
  • Overall responsibility for receiving shipments, incoming inspection, proper filing of paperwork, and correct entry into the system and locations
  • Achieving safety, quality, and financial objectives by developing associates and monitoring adherence to procedures while motivating employees
  • Planning staffing and schedules to accommodate receiving deadlines and seasonal demand
  • Establishing processes and monitoring daily goals for accuracy and efficiency
  • Optimizing productivity and space utilization with efficient processes and layouts
  • Promoting overall facility cleanliness and safety awareness
  • Maintaining a safe work environment where accidents are prevented

Physical Requirements:

Requires ability to move freely throughout the facility (may include walking up and down stairs, through tight or congested areas), ability to lift, pull and push up to 40 lbs., ability to verify, by sight, accuracy of product and paperwork, and ability to work with mathematical statistics.

Pay: $70,000 - $85,000, annualy. Compensation is commensurate with skills, knowledge, abilities and is geographically based.
