Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Receiving Data Processors at City Mill are responsible for accurately inputting inventory data into the appropriate manual and electronic logs, in an efficient manner. Position responsibilities also include receiving purchase orders and transfers, maintaining files of open purchase orders and transfers, inputting inventory markdowns and conversions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure quantities recorded by the Receiver are accurate- Generate and follow up on Purchase Orders for Returns to Vendors, such as for defectives, buybacks, etc.
- Complete discrepancy reports, send to vendor and follow up until resolved
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous retail experience preferred- Previous cashiering experience ideal
- Experience in a customer service position for twelve (12) continuous months within a hardware or home improvement retail setting, ideal \xe2\x80\x93 requiring product knowledge for related industries such as construction, landscaping, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
