Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock levels. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring timely distribution of products. Experience with warehouse management systems, RF scanners, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks is highly desirable. The Receiving Clerk will play a key role in supporting shipping & receiving processes, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse productivity.

Duties

Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy against purchase orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS). Load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks while adhering to safety protocols. Record received items in the warehouse management system (e.g., AS400, MRP) ensuring proper documentation of stock levels. Stock received goods in designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization for easy retrieval and order picking. Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment using order pickers and packing stations. Maintain accurate inventory records related to shipping & receiving activities, including stock adjustments and cycle counts. Support warehouse distribution tasks by coordinating with other departments to ensure timely processing of orders. Operate equipment safely, including forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack, following all safety guidelines. Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipment documentation. Assist with packaging products for shipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Prior experience in warehouse management or distribution centers is preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, and MRP software is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order fulfillment processes such as picking & packing. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy. Basic math skills for counting and verifying stock quantities. Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Warehouse experience involving stocking, order picking, load & unload activities preferred.
