Position Summary:
Assists receiving department, performing clerical duties involved in the receiving of materials.
Position Responsibilities:Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments. Keeps records on incoming shipments and returns. May operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. May direct others in receiving incoming shipments.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:Proficiency in Microsoft office applications Detailed oriented in record keeping and time elements of the position.

HS diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
1+ years of warehouse and forklift experience
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 75 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
