Job Description

Job Summary:

The receiving associate is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials, parts, and components used in trailer production. This role ensures materials are processed in a timely and organized manner to keep production running smoothly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Receive incoming deliveries of raw materials, trailer components, and supplies. Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing packaging slips, invoices, and purchase orders. Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing team. Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment. Label and route received materials to appropriate storage locations or production areas. Assist the purchasing department to ensure accurate records and inventory management levels. Assist the purchasing department and production teams to ensure timely flow of materials. Work closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely and complete deliveries. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area in compliance with company safety standards. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed. Must perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy when verifying and processing shipments. Good organizational skills to maintain an efficient receiving area. Excellent communication skills to report and document discrepancies or damages. Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 pounds at times. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing area for extended periods. Must be able to bend at the waist, kneel, and squat, walk, climb up and down ladders/scaffolding, stoop, push, pull and/or carry materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Must be able to work in hot or cold environments. Must be able to work in indoor or outdoor environments. May be exposed to welding, grinding, paint fumes, machinery noise, and extreme weather conditions.

Work Hours

: Monday - Thursday | 7:00am - 5:30pm, Friday | 7:00am - 12:00pm

Pay Rate

: $18 / hour - $20 / hour
