. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments from major carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.) and freight deliveries.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation and update inventory records.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse and storage areas.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving packages up to
50 pounds
.
Qualifications:
Minimum
2 years of experience
in a shipping and receiving or warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, freight shipping platforms).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and shipping software use.
Must be able to lift up to
50 lbs
regularly.
