Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Receiving and Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of our company's inbound shipments and inventory control operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, developing efficient processes, ensuring accurate stock records, and collaborating with other departments to maintain seamless supply chain logistics. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory management software.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the receiving department staff. Oversee the entire receiving process, ensuring all incoming products and materials are accurately verified against purchase orders and inspected for quality and damage. Implement and enforce efficient inventory control procedures, including regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to maintain high levels of accuracy. Optimize warehouse and storage layouts to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks and ensure all team members are properly certified and trained.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse, receiving, or inventory management role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is Preferred.

Soft Skills:

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
