Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable

Receiver

to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, inspecting goods, verifying packing slips, and organizing materials in the warehouse. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Check deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips Record damaged or missing items and report issues to the appropriate departments Properly label and organize materials in designated storage areas Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) if certified Maintain cleanliness and safety in receiving areas Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and production teams

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is a plus Ability to lift up to [50] lbs and perform physical work Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer and data entry skills Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to train) Dependable, punctual, and a team player
