Job Description

Join our team at Bow Street Beverage as a Receiver, where you'll play a vital role in managing incoming inventory and maintaining accurate documentation of shipments. Your meticulous attention to detail will uphold the integrity of our store's inventory and ensure smooth operational flow. While receiving deliveries will take up the majority of your shift on most days, during down-time the position includes those responsibilities of a retail associate such as cashiering, assisting customers, stocking product, and light cleaning. Responsibilities

Confirm receipt, inspect, and sort deliveries as they arrive Unload product from trucks when necessary Check shipments for accuracy and quality, refusing product when necessary Scan and enter products, and process invoices through POS software Communicate and work as a team with store management and associates Work with vendors and freighters in a friendly, professional matter Keep receiving area clean and organized Manage back stock and keep back stock area clean and organized Be a team player and assist the team in other areas as needed such as cashiering, assisting customers, stocking shelves, and light cleaning.

Skills

Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Must be able to use a Reach Lift with Tilt (walkie stacker) and hand jack (Pre-certification is a plus) Must be strong at arithmetic and have a basic understanding of POS systems Must be physically able to lift 15-20 lbs regularly Must meet minimum age requirements (21+ as this position involves handling alcohol.)
