To compose, format, and proofread mail and other legal documents, one needs effective oral and writing communication abilities.
Experience keeping track of business, legal, and client expenses and processing reimbursements and payments through an application program.
Working understanding of the procedures often used in transactional and real estate practices.
Work together with lawyers to represent buyers/borrowers, sellers, developers, and other clients in real estate transactions handled by the firm\'s lawyers.
Ensure compliance with all rules that may apply to the closure of real estate deals.
Coordinate closing requirements, send relevant transaction paperwork, and stay in touch with clients during the transaction.

Requirement:
Legal assistant with a minimum of five years\' experience, ideally in the transactional and real estate practice areas.
GED or a high school diploma is required. Plus if you have a degree or certification.
Able to use Microsoft 365 programs well (Word, Excel and Outlook).
A capacity for workload organization, prioritization, and juggling various attorneys\' assignments.
Ability to perform effectively and efficiently under time and pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capability to deal with clients, lawyers, and personnel in a professional manner.
Strong initiative, follow-through, and attention to detail are necessary.
The capacity to remain discreet.
Is a team player.
Ability to put in extra time if needed.
