Overview


We are seeking real estate paralegal/legal assistant for MA & RI. Responsible for all phases of residential closings from opening the file through the final title policy, pre and post-closing. Will be responsible for contact with customers, lenders and brokers on a daily basis.

What you'll do



Assist attorneys with legal research and document preparation for various cases, including personal injury and immigration law. Manage case files through effective document management systems, ensuring all records are organized and accessible. Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases. Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Support litigation efforts by preparing trial materials and organizing exhibits. Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Utilize tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw for comprehensive legal research.

Basic qualifications



Must have minimum 5+ experience in title and closing work. Must be a well-organized self-starter who is a team player and needs little training. Must have good knowledge of, and experience with clearing titles and understanding issues affecting title.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
