To assist VP Facilities and Real Estate with all real estate functions for UAB Medicine Enterprise and UAB St. Vincent's Authority. To provide support for all real estate operations to include planning, management and development of properties.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assists with portfolio / space management to include space utilization tracking and reporting.
2. Assists with all lease negotiations with internal and external entities. Secures final authorizations for the transactions.
3. Assists senior management in the acquisition and disposition of real estate. Performs purchase vs. lease analysis as needed. Prepares recommendations on the purchase and sale of properties of interest. Analyses and assesses appraisal information.
4. Shows potential tenants property and serves as point of contact.
5. Tracks and implements periodic rent increases, lease and renewal options, receipt of rents, and collection procedures. Facilitates move out procedures when needed.
6. Assists in propery management for leased and owned facilities. This includes utility management, pest control, coordination of maintenance, and other activities.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
Real Estate license preferred.
