About the Role:
Our client seeks a Real Estate Land Use Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their Austin office. This role is ideal for proactive, dynamic attorneys who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
Handle complex land use issues, including zoning and planning, land-use entitlements, variances, platting and subdivision, and city development contracts
Navigate and apply local land development codes
Attend in-person zoning and planning meetings
Provide strategic guidance and articulate legal strategies to clients
Manage multiple projects under pressure with exceptional judgment
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (preferred)
Active Texas Bar license or commitment to obtain promptly
Excellent academic credentials and professional references
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
