Job Summary





  • The Minnesota Department of Transportation does not sponsor applicants for work visas or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment.
This position will learn and apply technical skills in the areas of conducting market data research, performing field title interviews, writing minimum damage acquisition/appraisal reports, and performing relocation, property management and direct purchase tasks for District 3 MnDOT Right of Way.

Qualifications




Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in the Real Estate Field which includes such aspects as: appraisal, direct purchase and relocation process and procedures, real estate law, eminent Domain, land and/or building sales, titles, and closing sufficient to estimate value or damanges, prepare appraisal reports, legal documents, replacement housing supplements, relocation conclusions and direct purchase packages.
    • Note: A bachelor\'s degree in the field of real estate, business, economics or related may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Must possess a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.
  • Notary Public, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a Real Estate License
  • Current Notary Public
  • Possession of Minnesota Real Estate Appraisal License
