The Role


As an R&D Engineering Technician at Moxion Power, you\xe2\x80\x99ll serve a crucial role in the continued manufacturability of our product. Assisting the Test and Validation Team with building and running tests, helping the Manufacturing Team modify and rework parts for the line, helping to build Prototypes of Moxion Powers next products, and keeping our Prototype fleet running are all a part of this role. Your creativity and problem solving skills will help you be successful in this dynamic and important role.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Tests existing and prototype systems
• Maintains Prototype fleet
• Designs and builds test setups
• Develops, prepares and conducts experiments, collects data, and records results
• Assists with the design, development, testing and Manufacturing of product. May require the use of CAD software.
• Helps develop methods and procedures used in Prototype and Production start
• Builds instrumentation harnessing and uses test tools

Skills to be successful:

• Test lab experience (preferably in automotive)
• Great documentation and communication skills
• Experience in a shop environment
• Mechanical aptitude: You enjoy building things
• You think outside the box and can work autonomously

Nice to haves:

• Experience in electrification
• Testing specific experience
• Fabrication or Machine shop experience
• CAD knowledge
• Experience with GD&T and reading prints

Pay Equity


Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity \xe2\x80\x93 paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.


Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
