We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RBT/Front Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities For This Role Is Front Office Assistant related tasks
Assist licensed behavior analysts and therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis techniques. Support children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities by engaging in teaching activities, behavior management strategies, and skill development exercises. Collect and document data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Help with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence. Maintain detailed medical records, care plans, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Participate in training sessions related to behavioral health, medical terminology, and documentation procedures to enhance professional skills. Assist with administrative tasks at the front desk including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing excellent customer service to families and clients. Support the creation of a positive, safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and promoting respectful interactions among clients and staff. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless delivery of services tailored to each individual's needs within a supportive setting.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in behavioral health or special education is preferred. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential. Familiarity with assisting clients with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies. Understanding of medical documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology related to patient care. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written--to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information related to medical records and treatment plans.
