We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ramp Agent to join our team.

The

Ramp Agent

plays a key role in keeping flights

safe, on time, and running smoothly

. This position is responsible for marshaling aircraft, loading and unloading freight and baggage, assisting with aircraft servicing, and supporting pushback and towing activities. Ramp Agents help ensure aircraft run on time by carrying out under-wing activities such as moving baggage, cargo, and equipment between aircraft and gates, and performing other ramp duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities



In this role, you will be expected to perform with or without accommodation:



Perform ramp tasks to ensure aircraft are properly serviced and the correct luggage and cargo are offloaded and loaded for each flight. Guide aircraft to and from gates and assist with reversing aircraft for takeoff, following all safety procedures given by supervisors and airline partners. Guide and assist with parking arriving and departing aircraft and ensure

chocks and safety cones

are placed correctly around aircraft. Load and unload aircraft cargo, baggage, and mail onto carts and/or dollies for arriving and departing flights. Provide

special handling

of baggage, cargo, and mail as required, including priority, fragile, or oversized items. Collect, load, and unload

live animals and dangerous goods

on and off aircraft when necessary, in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures. Report all

equipment malfunctions

promptly to the appropriate supervisor. Deliver passenger baggage to the claim area and unload baggage onto the conveyor system in a safe, efficient manner. Comply with all

airport authority and carrier security requirements

, including strict adherence to airport Standard Operating Procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the job or for skill development in ramp operations.

Qualifications & Requirements



Education



A high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position preferred.

Experience



Prior experience in ramp, ground operations, cargo, warehouse, or other aviation/operations work is

helpful but not required

. Internal candidates with strong performance, reliability, and interest in ramp operations are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.

Skills & competencies



Willingness and ability to learn

all areas of ramp and flight operations

, including aircraft marshaling, baggage/cargo handling, and safety procedures. Ability to learn and follow

FAA, ICAO, IATA, TSA, local airport, and airline regulations

as they relate to ramp operations and security. Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly and ask questions when unsure. Strong teamwork mindset; willing to work within a

team environment

and support others on shift. Basic conflict resolution and sound decision-making, with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Willing to

adapt to changes

necessary for the effective functioning of the organization's objectives (new procedures, schedule changes, etc.). Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting, pulling, and pushing baggage and equipment (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
