R. J. Corman Switching Company is seeking a

Railroad Box Car Cleaner

to join our team in

Counce, TN.

Candidate will perform railcar inspections, prepping and cleaning on various types of railcars making general and AAR repairs, equipment maintenance, switching and other duties associated with maintaining an efficient switching operation.



Candidate will also make minor repairs meeting railroad standards and specifications to the boxcars, such as welding, equipment replacement, hole patching, bottom door track, spark strip, door straightening, floor caulking and floor protrusion smoothing.

Entry level candidates encouraged to apply.



Job Requirements:
Welding experience preferred but not required. Willing to work in all weather conditions. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Equipment maintenance as needed. Willing to work flexible hours. Ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and supervisors. Ability to work safely as a team. Other job duties as assigned.
