Responsibilities

Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - Imaging position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

This is a per diem position.

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and/or designated supervisor, operates x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated
portions of body as ordered by the physician. Positions and instructs the patient for radiologic or fluoroscopic examinations.Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and/or designated supervisor, operates x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated

Qualifications

Required Licensure / Certifications:

  • Current C ertification by the C alifornia Department of Health Services (C RT) required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) must be obtained within 6 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
  • State of C alifornia Fluoroscopy Permit required within 6 months of start date. (revised 01/07/08)
  • Current BC LS (C PR) certificate required.
  • I.V. C ertification for contrast injections preferred.
