Rise & Shine Orthopedics is looking for a friendly, skilled

Radiology Technician

to join our growing pediatric orthopedic practice. Radiology is the heart of this role -- you'll be our primary X-ray technologist and an essential part of creating a calm, positive experience for kids and families.

We're a small, energetic practice with a "jump in and help" mindset, so while radiography is your main job, you may occasionally support the front desk or clinical team. Primary Responsibilities (Radiology)

Perform high-quality digital X-rays for pediatric orthopedic patients (infants through teens) Use kid-friendly communication to keep patients comfortable Follow MIOSHA and radiation safety standards Maintain radiology equipment and daily QC documentation Work directly with the physician to support diagnostic needs Help ensure smooth, efficient patient flow Provide a warm, reassuring presence to children and families

Additional Responsibilities (Clinic Support)

(Not the main focus, but part of our team culture)

Prepare and clean exam rooms Support clinical staff as needed Assist with bracing/casting setup or simple tasks (training provided) Assist with check-in/check-out during busy times Help with phones, scheduling, and messages

Qualifications

Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a current Michigan Radiography License

- or eligible to obtain Michigan licensure prior to start date

Pediatric radiography experience preferred (but not required if comfortable working with kids) Strong communication skills, especially with children and anxious families Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic Friendly, professional, and excited to be part of a small team Willingness to assist with front desk or administrative tasks

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
