Summary:

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) to join our team at the Colorado Center for Pain & Wellness. We are currently looking to fill a PRN position for our fluoroscopy suite. Your contributions will directly support our commitment to effective pain management and patient-centered care.

Duties and responsibilities

Imaging procedures: Position patients and operate fluoroscopic equipment to capture high-quality, real-time images for diagnostic, therapeutic, or interventional purposes. This includes both standard X-ray exams and more complex fluoroscopic procedures such as interventional spine procedures.

Patient care: Explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and cooperation throughout the exam. This includes assessing any physical limitations or conditions that may affect the procedure.

Collaboration: Work as part of a healthcare team alongside physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient care.

Radiation safety: Implement radiation safety measures and use protective devices to ensure the safety of the patient, the technologist, and other staff members. Use the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principle to minimize radiation exposure.

Equipment management: Prepare and maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies and keeping equipment clean. Perform quality control activities, monitor equipment operation, and report any malfunctions.

Documentation and records: Enter and archive patient images and data into hospital information systems, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.

Certification and licensure:

o Must be a certified and licensed radiologic technologist in Colorado.

o Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification may be necessary.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
