Description:

Saint Francis, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a X-Ray Tech to join our Radiology team!

Shift:

Part Time, varied shifts, mostly weekends with possibility of weekend coverage dependent on PTO coverage needs. Weekend and holiday requirements. Per department needs.

Summary:

The technologistis responsible for performing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the department, at the bedside and in the OR., including thoseutilizing oral and /or injected contrast agents.The technologistassists the radiologist and/or other licensed, privileged physicians during radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologistis responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.

Major Responsibilities:

Performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures Utilizes Hospital EMR and Radiology PACS system with accuracy Assesses patients todetermine ability to undergo ordered procedure Provides guidance and mentoring to students Acceptadditional assignments and tasks Provide DX Radiology department coverage 24/7 including weekends and holidays Supports the mission and values of St. Francis Hospital

MinimumQualifications:

ARRT Delaware license in Radiology Technology BLS
