Job Summary

The department of CT Services seeks a Radiology Technologist to provide CT imaging for patients in the Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department settings. The CT Technologist provides imaging for patients and assists the patient\'s physician in expediting needed care. Quality, efficiency, and service excellence are all essential parts of this position. Duties include but are not limited to: performing diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols, providing feedback on image for improvement as needed, addressing customer needs appropriately according to age specific, service specific and disease specific criteria, and utilizing proper procedure for identifying patients. This position also is expected to operate the Intraoperative CT scanner.

The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted based on current demand for this role. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $24.96/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate\'s experience.

This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.

CT experience, patient care, excellent communication skills.
